Like the Pueblo, the Hotel Helios is in a very nice position and very handy for the Benidorm Market on a Sunday and Wednesday. The Helios is on the Avenida Filipinas,

futher down from the famous Avenida Filipinas Tabacos tobacco shop.

Although the hotel is fairly basic, it is very clean and central. The food is not out of this world to be honest but the staff are very friendly and the restaurant manager is very professional and smart. The pool area is a medium size and it can be difficult to find a sunbed during the summer despite the rules about not leaving your sunbed unattended for more than 20 minutes.

 

The entertainment in the hotel is aimed towards families so you are more likely to see a dancing couple or a bird show than a singer. The resident host and compere at the Helios hotel is called Angel. Despite the name, this is actually a middle aged man with a limp rather than a female star. If the price is right, this hotel can be quite pleasant.
